Royal Life Saving is a respected Registered Training Organisation and is committed to providing excellent service and programs through a skilled, knowledgeable, and professional workforce. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team!
Primarily based near Hobart, you will be responsible for the delivery of our range of our accredited training courses including for workplaces and school groups.
You will have a flexible level of availability that lends itself to a rotating roster which may include some weekends and evenings. You will enjoy exploring our surrounding regions as you travel in your company vehicle to deliver training throughout Tasmania.

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver, assess, and administer Royal Life Saving training courses for First Aid, Resuscitation, and Aquatic Response. (On the job training provided for all course types)
- Grow Royal Life Saving training business through developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Create new training opportunities across the aquatic and recreation industry, education sector and the general community.
- Maintain accurate training records
- Participate in internal training and development activities as required; and
- Contribute to and lead by example in the professional development of RLSTAS Training staff
Your skills:
- Communicating effectively at all levels, ensuring the audience’s understanding of topics and information
- Ability to quickly establish positive connections and rapport with people using your polite, professional, and objective manner
- Efficient use of IT systems, with the ability to learn new skills quickly
Essential Qualifications:
- Certificate IV - Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- Current Drivers Licence
- Working with Vulnerable People Background Check
Desired:
- A background in Public Health, Emergency Services, or in the delivery of First Response Training such as First Aid or Aquatic Rescue is preferred but not essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: $60,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
