The Royal Life Saving Aquatic Risk Officers have had a busy season assisting pools with their WHS and compliance requirements. The Aquatic Facility Safety Assessment (AFSA) service provides facility managers with a simple and effective method of assessing the level of safety and compliance within an aquatic facility. It is a way to ensure that their facility is being managed in line with industry standards and best practice.

The AFSA is also a great way to measure and recognise the great work the staff at these facilities undertake to improve the safety and compliance of these pools.

• 96% Safety Score (increase of 20% on 2022 score which was 76%)

• 98% 5 Star Water Safety Partner Accreditation (increase of 23% on 2022 score which was 75%)

• 97% Safety Score (increase of 20% on 2022 score which was 77%)
